As wedding professionals, it’s not just enough that we’re fabulous at what we do, we’re now expected to be a proactive whizz on social media, to have good understanding of SEO, to know how to connect with our audiences, to understand Facebook advertising, to get to grips with how Google works, and even be expected to read the minds of our potential clients, to some extent!
It isn’t all doom and gloom however, and there is ONE amazing but under-utilised marketing tool that we have at our disposal, which in comparison to other forms of marketing is not only relatively easy-to-use, but is algorithm-free and also costs next to nothing to run – and that’s our business blogs.
I am absolutely passionate about the power of blogging for wedding businesses. I love nothing more than helping people to understand that right at their fingertips, they have access to one of the most powerful marketing tools out there for their business. Unlike social media there is no fight against algorithms, but traffic driven purely by keyword rich content (blog posts).
Blogging for business is not only a fantastic way to drive traffic to your website but blogging is one of the most versatile marketing tools out there available for wedding business owners. Blogging not only helps individual businesses but equally importantly helps to strengthen the position of the wider wedding community against global wedding competition.
